Evasosweet (call name Jen). Acquired from her breeder Bart Scheerens in Belgium in fall 2009, Jen came to us carrying precious cargo – a litter of 8 puppies that were born here on 27 January 2010, sired by the fabulous Multi Ch. Boxing Helena’s Epos Ena (Justin). There was much interest in the litter and the pups quickly found wonderful new homes. Photos of three of them – Avalonia Absolute Treasure (call name Victor), who remained with us and who is owned by Avalonia, Avalonia Ain’t She Nice (Kaya), owned by Monika and Daniel Lavallee of Vanier, Ontario, and Avalonia Almost An Angel (Iza) owned by Maggie Wojciechowski of Mississauga, Ontario, are pictured here. Pictured here too is mother Jen, shown with a listing of the 10 championship titles she holds from Europe, AND Canada, as our friend Carol Froats took Jen out to a handful of shows and quickly made her a Cdn.Ch. as well. The original plan with Jen was for her to stay in Canada for a year, and then transfer her back to her breeder Bart, and send her, perhaps in whelp to an Avlaonia male, back to Europe. Jen will be making that trip to Belgium sometime in early 2011, but she will not be carrying puppy cargo but bringing it with her as her season came earlier than we expected and her so she was bred to one of our best young dogs – Canadian Ch. Avalonia Reckless Rogue. Rogue is a son of Fin. Swed.Cdn.Ch. Scheik’s Ardbeg Avalonia, bred by Jarmo Vuorinen of Finland 12 years ago now, using Cdn.Fin.Nor.World Ch. Avalonia Wheatfield Waving as sire. Rogue’s dam is the incomparable Eng.Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Ceefa Ceely and he is the pup in Ceely litters who most resembles both her, and her illustrious sire, Eng.Aust.NZ Ch. Nevedith Rare Rogue. We were thrilled to welcome Jen-Rogue puppies on Sunday, 24 October, with the birth of 5 puppies – all shades of fawn and white and red and white. There are four males, and one female, all of them promised to homes here in Canada and in Europe. We are clipping a first photo of the new kids on the block so you can hopefully watch them grow up.
