	Starr was bred by Carol Wright of Windsong whippets in West Virginia, USA. Carol has recently undertaken a breeding program that closely parallels our own -- incorporating Nevedith bloodlines with top Sporting Fields bitches from the Sporting Fields Kinsman line.
	Starr was sired by Nevedith Justa Joker, who is litter brother of Eng.Ch. Nevedith Justa Jesta. Jesta is sire of three dogs resident at Avalonia – Chs. Nevedith Local Lancer, Avalonia Wotta Jesta and Avalonia Wispa Jesta. Both are products of what may be England's most famous single whippet litter: the Justa litter born in December 1992. Starr’s dam is a daughter (and granddaughter) of American whippet royalty: Am.Cdn.Ch. Sporting Fields Kinsman.
	In Fall 2001 Starr was bred to Fin.Swed.Ch. Scheik’s Ardbeg Avalonia who arrived from Finland in early summer to take up residence at Avalonia.
