completed her Cdn.Ch. in May 2002. |
| Whitney represents the next
generation of outcross bloodline that will be incorporated into the
Nevedith based bloodlines of the Avalonia breeding program in the
years ahead. From the first whippet litter produced by her breeder,
Carol Wright of West Virginia, Whitney combines the qualities so
evident in her sire (litter brother of the Bohem BOB World Champion
at the World Show in Mexico in 1999) with those of her dam, who is
double line-bred on Ch. Sporting Fields Kinsman, a strong factor in
several Avalonia litters in recent years. Whitney, combines gorgeous
pigment with overall soundness in a pleasingly petite 19 inch
package. |
| Whitney made her Canadian show
debut in two shows in September 2000. It was a very satisfying
debut, with two BW wins, and 6 points towards her title. She will
return to the show ring in 2001 in search of her final points to her
Cdn.Ch. |
| Whitney's first litter - 5
girls, 1 boy, was born in late May 2000. Sired by Glastonbury
Classic Victorian (Eng.Am.Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Up Town Guy x Am.Cdn.Ch.
Amazone's Glastonbury Lily), Whitney was bred, as is the Avalonia
practice, into tight Nevedith bloodlines. Pick bitch puppy, Avalonia
Black Amour, now resides in Finland with Hanne Kakko, while Avalonia
retains the striking black brindle and white male, Avalonia Black
Mamba (Aston), in partnership with Susan Brewster of the United
States. |
