Robbie
was Avalonia's smallest male whippet. A compact 19.5 inches (49.5
cms) fawn brindle and white dog Robbie had one of the most beautiful
heads and perhaps the best ears we have ever seen on a whippet.

Robbie
was the result of a repeat breeding of Eng.Ch. Woolsocks Summer
Blaze, a top whippet and top whippet sire in the late 1980s, to
Memento of Rearsbylea, a double grand-daughter of the great Eng.Ch.
Deepridge Mintmaster. One
prominent Canadian judge once told us that Robbie’s head compared
in quality to the “best” whippet head he had ever seen.
It turned out his favourite whippet head of all time was
Mintmaster!
