earned her Cdn.Ch. title in Summer 2003 and is now Eng. & Cdn.Ch.
Nevedith Ceefa Ceely. Ceely came to Canada and Avalonia Kennels at two
years of age as a full-fledged English champion. We thank Nev, Edith and
Editha Newton for the opportunity to own this fabulous English whippet bitch
that has become an essential element of the Avalonia breeding program for
the years ahead.

her short English show career, which only began in May 2001, Ceely earned 5
CCs, one BIG and one Group 3rd, three RCCs, and three BPIBs.
Sired by Eng.Aust.NZ Ch. Nevedith Rare Rogue, out of Eng.Ch. Nevedith Justa
Jenie, holder of 14 CCs herself and from the world famous Nevedith double J
litter, Ceely’s quick route to her English title certainly came as no
surprise to us or anyone else familiar with her pedigree.

| Ceely completed her Canadian championship title quickly
and is now retired from showing. We
have since had two Ceely litters at Avalonia.

| Bred to Ch. Avalonia Wotta Jesta,
Ceely had a litter of 8 pups on Halloween – 31 October 2004.
We kept a son, and a daughter from that litter with an eye to the
future. The male, Avalonia Trick
or Treat, is a very moderate sized fawn and white male (he is 19.75 inches
tall) of exquisite proportions and qualities.
Tricky will figure in Avalonia litters in the future as will his
beautiful litter sister, Avalonia Ghostly Mostly, a mostly white female
call-named Tansy. Litter sister
Eve -- Avalonia All Hallow’s Eve -- moved to Maryland, USA with owner A.
Jalynn Almond of Dumond Whippets. Jalynn
brought Eve north to Canada during the summer of 2006 and easily showed her
to her Cdn.Ch. title.

| Ceely’s second litter, sired by Fin.Swed.Cdn.Ch.
Scheik’s Ardbeg Avalonia was a shocker for us – 10 pups born 31
March 2006. A truly excellent
mother, Ceely ensured all 10 of these pups survived and prospered.
Littermates now live in four Canadian provinces (Newfoundland,
Ontario, Quebec and Alberta) and in Massachusetts, in the USA.
Avalonia High Society, a fawn and white female owned by our friend
Gabriella Svoboda, will be shown in 2007 and will carry the Avalonia banner
for us in a future litter. |
