the time she got off the plane from Denmark with her breeder Rudi
Brandt as a yearling, Blixen did everything asked of her. She
finished her Cdn.Ch. in 1998 and her Am.Ch. in 1999 shown by Susan
Brewster for us. Because of Sue’s devotion to Blixen we
ultimately signed her over to Sue, with whom she lived till she died
in January 2007.

| Blixen's
pedigree was an intriguing mix of California, Denmark and France and
the fact it worked was evident in both littermates and full siblings
from a repeat breeding who became champions across Europe . Blixen
has had two small litters. The
first was out of English import Am.Ch.Klondyke Spin the Shadow, a
son of Eng.Ch. Dunaruna Savannah Shadow (sired by Eng.Ch. Nevedith
Justa Jesta). A daughter from that litter, Cdn.Ch. Spicewind It’s
All About Me, is owned by A. Jalynn Almond in Maryland who bred her
back to Nevedith lines with Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Hfa Hanky Panky,to
produce two Canadian champions, Cdn.Ch. DuMond Aladdin’s Magic,
who is owned by Avalonia, and Cdn.Ch. Avalonia Ain’t Misbehavin’,
owned by DuMond. |
