When we acquired Rudi Brandt’s beautiful young Danish-bred whippet Frontrunner’s Ruby Malone, and imported her into Canada in 1997 we hoped her wonderful blend of Danish, French and American bloodlines would leave a legacy for us, as indeed it has.   With American and Canadian championship titles under her belt Blixen was bred to an English bred whippet carrying Nevedith, Hillsdown and Klondyke bloodlines to produce her American born daughter, Cdn.Ch. Spicewind It’s All About Me.  That daughter, owned by DuMond kennels and bred to DuMond’s English import, Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Hfa Hanky Panky, produced Aladdin and his siblings, one of whom remains with DuMond and who is also a Cdn.Ch. Aladdin made his show debut in 2006 and easily finished his Canadian championship title over two show weekends.  Aladdin is an exceptionally smooth moving, moderate sized dog standing 20 inches at the withers.  He is now at stud at Avalonia.
