  • Picasso is just one of the stars in a quality filled litter bred by the Belgian kennel of Bart Scheerens. Sired by Eng.Ch. Nevedith
    Justa Jesta, out of Boxing Helena’s Yman, herself half Nevedith, Picasso’s quality was evident right from the start and so it was no
    surprise when Nevedith kennels acquired him. But the desire to campaign a number of rising stars at home – recently minted Eng.
    Chs Nevedith Ayfa Aze and Nevedith Ceefa Ceely, as well as up and coming puppies N. Eeefa Empra and Eefa Empress, both
    themselves sired by Justa Jesta, has made Picasso available to Avalonia and we jumped at the chance to bring him to Canada. He
    arrives August 12 and will make his show debut almost immediately.

  • ‘Casso is, indeed, no stranger to the show circuit. At 7 and a half months of age he went Best Puppy in Show at the Belgian
    Sighthound Centenary World Show on Saturday, May 11th attracting significant interest from breeders from around the world
    attending the shows. The next day Picasso stayed home and litter sister, Boxing Helena’s Art Groupie, owned by her breeder, won
    BOB puppy and BIS 2 puppy. Meanwhile in Estonia, litter brother Boxing Helena’s Art n’ Icon was BOB and BIS puppy at the
    Estonian Sighthound Specialty on June 1st . Litter brother Boxing Helena’s Art n’ Craft also debuts shortly in Germany.

  • Picasso will be one of four Nevedith Justa Jesta sons or daughters at Avalonia where we treasure the hallmark movement and
    soundness of Jesta, which has been replicated in each of his sons and daughters we have acquired or bred to date. We thank the
    Newtons and Bart Scheerens for their willingness to let this exciting young dog come to Canada.
