  • Tricky is the quintessential English whippet. His sire was bred in England and whelped in Canada at Avalonia and his dam is an Eng.
    Ch. import to Canada.  Nevedith Kennels bred all four grandparents in England and three are English champions.  The fourth
    would have been had we not purchased her, bred her and imported her to Canada.

  • But most importantly, he is quintessential because he so fully meets all the requirements of the English breed standard, including
    size.  At two and a half years of age and now fully mature, Tricky stands 19.75 inches at the withers.  He is moderate in every
    respect.  His movement is impeccable, his head is exquisite and exceptional, his shoulder layback is superb, his topline perfection
    and overall his type oozes the qualities one expects to find only in the most exceptionally well bred, well-constructed whippets.

  • One of a litter of eight, we kept two from this litter to run on at Avalonia.  His litter sister Tansy (Avalonia Ghostly Mostly) is no less
    exceptional.

  • We credit the qualities and type we see in Tricky and Tansy to their superb dam, Eng.Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Ceefa Ceely, to Ceely’s
