  • When the last litter we planned to breed from Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Local Lancer (before retiring him to allow us to use our younger
    dogs more) produced only two pups, both male, we were initially disappointed because we were looking for a Lancer daughter to
    continue his legacy.  Instead, we have gotten, as we have since discovered, Lancer’s true legacy in the two superb sons he
    produced in his litter out of Cdn.Ch. Avalonia Barbados.

  • The two males in this litter are so similar it takes some looking to be sure who you are looking at.  Cdn.Ch. Avalonia Edradour  -- call
    name Apollo and pictured here -- is the slightly darker black brindle and white.  He has a slightly longer topline than his litter brother,
    Zeus.  Beyond that, both dogs are sweet-tempered, gentle dogs, moderate sized at 20 inches, and both are stunning movers.  These
    are exceptional qualities we believe stud dogs in any long term breeding program should have and for that reason we ran both of
    them on attempting to decide who we liked most – before making the decision we could not decide.  Each dog has slightly different
    strengths than the litter brother, making it impossible to pick a favourite.

  • Both dogs finished their Cdn.Ch. titles easily and both dogs are at stud at Avalonia.
