Key Attributes -
Avalonia Dom Perignon
 | Well what else would you call
your pick of litter dog when he is born on New Years Day?
|
 | This is the most stunning gunmetal blue dog we have ever
produced, and one of the finest blues anyone who has visited our
premises has ever seen, as many visitors have told us. Wonderfully
sound and exquisite moving, Dom is what we hoped from when we bred
his litter. Breeding Dom's litter was a conscious decision on our
part in order to retain the genes that provided us with our
foundation litter - sired by Eng.Am.Cdn.Ch. Nevedith Up Town Guy
out of Am.Cdn.Ch. Amazone's Glastonbury Lily.
Dom's father, Ch. Glastonbury Victoria
n'Albert was our keeper male from that litter. In just three
litters Victor went on to produce 7 champions, including one who
won the World Ch. title in Finland in 1997. And Dom's maternal
grandmother, Glastonbury Victoria Regina, was our keeper female
from that foundation litter.
|
 | We knew when we bred the litter that we should expect nothing
but blue fawn brindle and white and we were not disappointed. Born
on New Years Day we celebrated the birth of the litter, and the
arrival of Dom by naming the litter after exquisite French
champagnes. As pick of litter, knowing that when only the best
will do, we named our pick pup Dom Perignon.
|
 | We have waited too long to breed a litter out of Dom but now
plan to do so within the next year, mixing this important
component of our foundation line with the line we have produced
down from it as it has moved forward over the past 20 years. |
