From the moment she was born, we knew we would be keeping Tansy. Her qualities and potential for the future were that evident, right from birth, and in the two years since then Tansy has become her breeder Mick’s favourite whippet in the world.

Almost entirely white except for two black tipped ears and a tiny circle of colour on her non-show flank, and with dark chocolate eyes, Tansy has taken time to grow up and fill out. Now, at two and a half years of age, and somewhat smaller than her mother at 18.75 inches at the withers, Tansy reflects the physical qualities and promise we saw in her as a young pup.

Unbelievably smart, affectionate, adoring and anxious to please, at the same time as she is spunky, appealing and single minded in her pursuit of getting her own way, Tansy reflects the differences in maturity we often see between juvenile male and female whippets from the same litter. Happily, Tansy has now grown up mentally as well as physically, and so she may yet see the inside of a show or obedience ring.
